Ik heb weinig of geen ervaring met e-bay.

Ik wou een object kopen dat ik gevonden had via een zoekertjes-site. Ik vroeg om het eerst te mogen zien en uitproberen alvorens over te gaan tot de aankoop. De verkoper liet me weten dat hij in het buitenland zit maar dat hij enkel werkt via e-bay. Het volgende stuurde hij me door:

If we decide to proceed with this transaction, i will have to contact eBay and provide them all the necessary information, so they can start the process right away. I will be needing your full name and address for that. You will receive a notification from eBay shortly after that, together with all the instructions to follow and the invoice as well. Regarding the payment, you will be instructed to deposit the money to eBay. They will hold and insure your money until receipt of the product in good condition. That is how their buyer protection policy is working. As far as the seller concerns, i will be glad to know that eBay has the possession of the money during the delivery period. That is my insurance.
As soon as i will have the confirmation from eBay that the funds have been deposited to their, i will immediately start the shipping process. The product will be delivered to your address in no more than 2 working days. You will be given a 5 days inspection period from the day you receive them at home. If you decide to hold the phones, then you will have to authorize eBay to release the funds to me, and the transaction will be completed. If you will not be satisfied, you will be able to send everything back through the same shipping company, and ask eBay to return the funds to you.
If you wish to proceed with the purchase, please provide me your full name and address so I can initiate the deal through eBay right away.

Als dit zo is lijkt me dat wel veilig maar werkt het op deze manier via eBay??

Kan iemand me hier meer info over bezorgen?

Maar nee, da's een doodgewone poging tot oplichting volgens een aloud en beproefd recept.
't Wordt stilaan tijd dat ze eens iets nieuws uitvinden, maar vermoedelijk zijn er nog altijd mensen die in dit verhaaltje trappen.

Ik voelde al nattigheid!

Zijn prijzen waren ook te mooi om waar te zijn, dat is meestal al geen goed teken...
