Diverse problemen met eBay site: Internet Explorer 6.

Customer Support UK linkt een verscheidenheid aan problemen, die sommige gebruikers de laatste weken ondervinden met de eBay site, aan het gebruik van de oudere browser “Internet Explorer 6”. “Het probleem is gekend en er wordt aan gewerkt”. Wat u ondertussen kunt doen als u IE6 gebruikt, is upgraden naar een recente versie van IE of de gratis “Firefox” browser http://www.mozilla-europe.org/nl/firefox/ te downloaden en gebruiken.

General Announcement: Various eBay related site issues: Internet Explorer 6

There are increasing numbers of reports of members experiencing a variety of site related issues recently. It appears that these are there are issues tied to the use of Internet Explorer 6. This is now a "known issue" and is being worked on by our Tech Support Teams.

While we do support IE 6, it is one of the older browsers out there so while it should allow members to perform all actions it does mean that it can experience problems. In the meantime we would suggest either upgrading your version of Internet Explorer or using Firefox as an alternative.

If your problem is not resolved by this action please contact Customer Support to report the issue and allow them to escalate it.
